In this entry-level Ashiatsu class you’ll learn how to use your feet to provide a full body deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point focused barefoot massage session. Techniques will focus mainly on prone applications, but will include a few supine options.
You will learn to utilize your weight and natural gravitational forces to effortlessly maintain consistent pressure and balance using the overhead support system.
Class also includes:
– Marketing and integration into existing massage practice
– Safe installation and customization of overhead bars
– Contraindications and indications for barefoot massage
– Theory of barefoot massage
– Appropriate body mechanics to keep yourself healthy
