This course provides in-depth knowledge needed to offer safe and effective massage therapy to laboring clients. Students will reinforce their knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the body during the stages of labor. Students will learn the complications and contraindications, as well as the benefits, indications, and cautions of labor massage. Students will discover integrated massage techniques to treat common discomforts during the stages of labor. This is an in person practical course.
