The Power of Reciprocity: Balancing Giving and Taking in Partnerships
Monday December 2- 11am-1pm
All relationships between peers are maintained through a balance of give and take. When one party gives (or takes) more than the other for an extended period of time, the relationship inevitably falls apart.
Whether our relationship is with a spouse, a friend, or a colleague, we form both overt and covert agreements with each other. As people grow over time, it serves both the individuals and the relationship to update these agreements. When this doesn’t happen, the relationship suffers.
In this workshop we’ll explore: How the balance of give and take protects our love for eachother, and how we can bring balance to our relationships that feel imbalanced.
